Figurative Series

I design each painting by arranging human figures in varied configurations and different settings. The figure, as it dissects the picture plane, evokes reflection and emotion.

The scenes created are conceptual and the figures are composed so they interact in an imaginary scene.

While the conception of each work begins with a personal experience, upon completion the work becomes a statement of universal thought. All paintings in this exhibit are created in the medium of watercolor.
